With Dani, Kate and Mick in the same town, a disaster ensues.....ALWAYS! Last night they thought it would be a great idea to stay at the Econo Lodge in Atlanta in the seediest part of town. Of course, as soon as Dani walked in the room, she broke the door lock straight off by touching it. Sounds just like the garage door in Chicago. Our next mission was to get the heat to work, which never happened. It just so happened to be the coldest night that Georgia has had EVER. With the Fox Chase Drive boys in town as well, they crammed 8 people into a 4 person room. Cheap skates. Dani called the front desk requesting the heat be fixed. Lil' Wayne came a knocking at the door and punched a few buttons. They thought he was full of shit considering nothing ever happened. They gave up and bundled with everything in sight.
Once settled into their 5 star accommodations with no heat and flip flops, their next mission was to find a suitable table for a game of Land Mines. They settled for a round cocktail table about the size of a pizza = Not Big Enough. Their first idea was to pull the dresser/desk out from the wall, but upon moving the tv, they discovered dust bunnies big enough to steal cars and a various colony of insects that appeared well fed. Needless to say, the desk stayed put. Alex moved the cocktail table with his hands perilously close to an entire pack of chewed gum on the undercarriage.
Ten minutes into the game, the infamous Ryan Ross (not the Panic at the Disco one) blessed the residents with his presence. He discovered some rather revealing pictures of Dani on her phone. Oops! Not surprising.
Skipping various minor and not-so-minor details, the group found themselves drunk and sleepy in the igloo. The next problem was to find enough room on the floor for two huge-ass air mattresses. The only logical solution was to move the not-so-mobile hotel beds. Josh, being the princess that he is, took up the space between the beds for his gigantor mattress. Alex thought it would be a fabulous idea to jump on said gigantor mattress. To his dismay, it was dangerously close to the protruding hotel bed frame. Pop goes the mattress!!!!! "Looks like Princess Josh is sleeping on the floor tonight."
The end result of the sleeping situation was Mick and Will cuddled up on one bed, wet from Alex's spilled beer. Kate in a David and Posey sandwich on the other bed. Princess Josh on a deflated air mattress in the middle and Dani and Alex on an air mattress fit for a midget, which deflated soon after inflating. Alex woke up in the middle of the night shivering from frost bite. He trekked to the lobby to request additional blankets for the igloo, but got turned down by the overly-friendly hotel staff. He was given towels from the bathroom as a substitute. That sure did a lot of good.
Kate and Posey were unable to sleep due to obnoxious snoring (aka Mick) and various make out noises that were hopefully coming from a guy and girl couple. Guy and guy noises aren't a huge stretch in this situation, though, in an attempt to stay warm. Unfortunately, the bathroom was not available for use by this make-out couple, due to a pee-covered floor. Kate happened to step in this pool earlier in the night....barefoot. Fabulous! She just took it to bed with her. The other guys decided it was easier and just as cold to piss outside on the porch, creating a frozen pee slip-n-slide for the other guests of the hotel. FUN! WEEEE!!!!
Thankfully, morning came and the room was still about ten degrees.....below zero. Everyone awoke to Josh yelling out "Lesbos" and commenting on Posey's "man-scaping". Mick and Will wandered off as usual into the arctic parking lot only to never return. Flat air mattresses were rolled back into their bags and belongings were collected. Dani, Kate, Mick and their brood left the posh suite in hopes of never returning. Kate is planning on writing the hotel chain a stern letter with her dissatisfaction of the accommodations.
With plans of feasting at Ryan's house tonight, there are sure to be more stories on the horizon. Stay tuned!
